First Diaper Crawl a GO!

— PRESS RELEASE —

In partnership with St. Paul Catholic Church, the Pooper Troopers is excited to announce a new and different diaper drive, taking place Saturday, May 18, 2024. The diaper crawl will be located at the historical St. Paul Picnic Grounds in St. Paul, Missouri.

Similar to a pub crawl on the Streets of St. Charles or in the Soulard Neighborhood, crawlers will pay a $50 entry fee which includes a variety of beer, soda and water, and will crawl from one bar to the next. Where this becomes unique is with the location and type of pub. With this located at the St. Paul Picnic Grounds, sponsors will pay $500 to manage a booth or stand and will hand out the allotted alcohol to the crawlers as if they are the pub. Crawlers will find various drawings along the way, including 50/50 and a silent auction, along with games like Ladder Ball and Cornhole

At the end of the night, crawlers are then invited down to the main stage for an after party where they can dance to a live band and continue enjoying cocktails with friends and family.

Amongst the sponsors will be some representatives from St. Paul Parish who are members of St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Respect Life Committee, organizations that advocate for the respect of human life, no matter their age or income. With 100% of the profits raised going towards the purchase of diapers for families here in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area, they will be taking part in the event to ensure the Pooper Troopers is able to raise as many funds as possible to help those most in need.

To sign up as a sponsor or to purchase crawler tickets, please visit www.diapercrawl.org and follow the links. If crawling isn’t your style but you still want to take part, we do have a ticket for designated drivers that includes soda and water, as well as volunteer opportunities in case you wish to help us raise some funds.

The Pooper Troopers is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is listed as an official Diaper Bank within the State of Missouri. It is 100% volunteer-driven which means that all proceeds go towards operating costs and the purchase of diapers and baby supplies. The Board of Directors, staff and volunteers do not get paid for any of the services provided. For additional information about the Pooper Troopers, please visit www.poopertroopers.org/about.
