St. Louis, MO – 9/12/24 – The Pooper Troopers, a well-known diaper bank headquartered in the St. Louis region, is thrilled to announce its expansion into Southwest Missouri. This significant move aims to extend their support and assistance to families in need across the Ozarks.
In collaboration with the Table Rock Career Center’s SkillsUSA Chapter, the Pooper Troopers will be organizing a diaper drive from November 8th to November 24th. This initiative is designed to gather essential supplies for local families who face challenges in affording the most basic necessities.
The diaper drive will leverage the combined efforts of local businesses like Harter House, generous online credit card donations, and curated online shopping lists to reach its goal. The collected diapers will be distributed to families throughout the Ozarks via organizations like the Pregnancy Lifeline, ensuring that the youngest and most vulnerable members receive the care and support they need.
“We are incredibly excited to partner with the Table Rock Career Center for this crucial initiative,” said Erwin Emge, CEO at the Pooper Troopers. “Our mission is to alleviate the burden on families struggling to provide for their children, and this expansion allows us to extend our reach and impact even further.”
John Giebler, a SkillsUSA Advisor, explained “At Table Rock Career Center, we offer 12 different programs of study to prepare students to be successful professionals in the workforce. From being marine technicians on Table Rock Lake to doing IT work at a local business, our goal is to develop these young men and women into amazing and talented individuals that want to stay right here in Southern Missouri. The final piece we are missing is the philanthropic work that every young adult should take part in and learn from. This diaper drive checks so many boxes for us and is a very exciting event to take part in.”
