Why do we support the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery? Because of efforts like this. A tragic event and they stepped up.You may have heard about the heartbreaking situation in South St. Louis in which a mother killed her five-year-old son and then herself on Wednesday. This is an awful tragedy, and our hearts go out to the families affected.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲. We step up, we help however we can, and we make sure that we are there for the community with whatever we can do. Our staff—who are on the front lines with the families suffering every day—were deeply affected by this horrible news, and had to do something with the immense pain and sadness they were feeling.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻, 𝘀𝗶𝘅 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗺 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱, and left this note and the flyer with Crisis Nursery information.
